The device is made up of: |
A control system(contorl lever) |
A system to transmit information
about the distance between the bogie and the body through
a lever and a piston(control shaft,pin,piston,regulating-screw......). |
A succession of three chambers (an
admission chamber,a pressure chamber and an exhaust
chamber-labelled respectively chambers A,B and C)in
which the pressure varies. For example, the pressure in
the admission chamber (PA)is 7/8 bars (101,5/116 psi)whereas
the average pressure in the air bags is 4 bars(58 psi). |
|
|
|
A system to open and close the chambers(operated by two
valves-an admission valve and an exhaust valve-operated
independently from each other by a single rod. |
